Busy day
On Friday the kids had a fun-filled morning. First we headed to the local fire station for a lesson in fire safety. I am sure we will have to review that again, since I don't know that either one listened very well. They both climbed into the back seat of the fire truck and sprayed the big fire hose. Andy asked for more, most of the time. Elliana was brave and touched the fireman all dressed in uniform, including mask. I forgot the camera, but hopefully I will get a few pictures from a friend.
Next, we headed to Elliana's dance class. This was her second week and her teacher, Ms. Dusty, gave a great report! The moms and Andy head to the local Starbucks to wait until class is over. Finally, we went straight to a birthday party for a neighbor. Andy was in heaven here. They had a room set up with just trains! Andy did not even bother to stop to eat lunch until well after 1:00. Elliana sat by the cake until it was time to sing. They both napped for a couple hours!
On Saturday, today, we took a family trip to the zoo and got to see the polar bears eat their pumpkins and the gorilla run around. Chris ate his funnel cake and the kids got to ride the carousel and train. The weather turned out to be perfect for Elliana wearing a fox costume. Everyone loved it, but thought she was a boy.
