Ears

Elliana had her check-up at the ENT yesterday. She has some hearing loss in her right ear. It should not be permanent, but will last until the fluid goes away. Both of the tubes are starting to fall out but are stuck in lots of wax. So we just let it take its course and will see that happens in two months. She did great with the hearing test, but did get sick of waiting to hear beeps. I think the fact that she did not hear them in her right ear got irritating...so she would just putting the balls in the bucket anyways. They do the test by playing games with the kids like putting balls in a bucket, putting ice cream on a cone, building blocks, etc.
Elliana started to cry when she knew we had to see the doctor, but made it through without screaming when he was in the room.

We were supposed to have the fire inspection completed today, but the firemen were called away and never made it. Otherwise, we are pretty much done with the homestudy.

Layers

Elliana is very much in the "do it myself" stage. She went upstairs to get her pjs on and came back down wearing something only she could pull off. She had two pairs of underwear, which she has been doing pretty much every day, but one pair was backwards. Next, came three swimsuits, followed by more underwear and her pj shirt on top. She was very pleased with herself and thought she should head to the ocean.
We are headed to Florida at the end of May. Elliana tells me this about 10 times a day and asks if we can just go now. She carries around clothes, in case she can get started packing and tells anyone her plans. Everyone who works at Krogers know we are going to the ocean in May.
Andy follows Elliana around and tries to do all she does. Vacuuming is a big hit. His favorite toy right now is a ball blower thing that is very loud. He can usually be found carrying around a matchbox car and making car sounds. Andy can yell ball and say something to the effect of "Elliana". He is very attached to his daddy and thinks Chris should focus all attention solely on him. Andy will even wave goodbye to me when Chris gets home. An all out fit is preformed if Chris does not stop to give Andy a hug and kiss when he walks into the room.
