Crawling

Andy started crawling about a week and a half ago. He can move pretty fast and go after the tiniest crumb. It has been a challenge to keep a step ahead of him. Last check at the scale, Andy had not quite reached the 23 pound mark. But with Thanksgiving coming, I am sure he can eat his way there. Andy really likes finger food the best. The puree food is only good to him if it is fruit. Crackers are his favorite snack, maybe they help his gums. Andy got four teeth is one weekend and is working another four. His top four are all showing, along with two on the bottom. So his is waiting for the other two on the bottom to pop.

Elliana and Andy both had started their holiday colds a little early this year. Coughing, sneezing, runny nose, and water eyes are everywhere we look. Hopefully they will be over it by the time Thursday rolls around.
Ana plays pretend and hide a seek more that anything else these days. She is getting better and not peeking when she counts for hide and seek. When she plays pretend it is usually going to church or work and taking her babies with her. Six is her favorite number. I am not sure why, but she often counts to six and thinks she was six fingers. Ana is also potty training. She does pretty good and will leave the house without a diaper occationally.

Andy's Dedication

web_P1040998.JPG
This Sunday was one of Andy's dedications. (We will do one in front the the whole church on the Sunday of Thanksgiving.) Here is the spiritual goal and verse we decided on for Andy:

That as he grows, he would choose daily to live for eternal purposes and be able to make the hard choices between what is better and what is best. So that, the people he comes in contact with would know that heaven, not earth, is his home.

Philippians 4:8
Finally, brethren, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is of good repute, if there is any excellence and if anything worthy of praise, let your mind dwell on these things.
