Walls Family

Okay, Elliana has officially been eight months for 3.5 days. She has already changed since two weeks agos when I last posted.
Sleeping- doing better. She woke up today at 7:20. She still naps 2-3 times.

Feeding- She started a new schedule last week. She nurses 4 times (her doing, not mine) and eats solids 3 times (my doing).

Misc.- Elliana is very grabby, she will take anything and everything! It is getting difficult to type this since she is on my lap and grabbing every paper that is around me. She also has been sleeping on her stomach every now and then.

Today was the first time Elliana was kicked out of the childcare room at the YMCA. She was quite upset that I could not be found when she went to look for me. Joe, who she is very used to, brought her out. So my workout was cut short, but Elliana is no longer screaming. We will try again on Friday. I am alittle concerned seen she has started to do this at other places and with people she sees all the time.

Elliana is almost eight months and I have not shared what she has been learning for awhile. She can stand for about three minutes while playing at her leap frog table. She uses her pincher fingers to take anything within reach. She can drink from a sippy cup, when she really wants too... She just started to wave to herself. I am sure there is more, but that is a pretty good update on that. No crawling, but starting to show some interest in it:)

Food- Elliana eats two meals of solids at 8:30am and 5:30pm. So far she has had- avocadoes, sweet potatoes, carrots, peas, beans, apples, bananas, and yogurt (and cheerios). Her favorite would have to be yogurt and sweet potatoes.
She nurses at 6:30, 11:30, 2:30, sometimes 5:30, and 8:00.

Sleep- Elliana takes two-three naps during the day. Goes to bed between 7:30 and 8:00 and wakes about 6:30 for a quick drink and then back to sleep until 8:00.

Weight- She was 17.07 pounds at the doctors on Wednesday.

Sickness- Elliana has had an ear infection for the passed three weeks. Not good. She does not complain or even pull on her ear, so the only way to tell in to look in her ear.
